1. Use of Service

2.1 Automation Restrictions: The use of robots, spiders, or any other automated means to access the Service is strictly prohibited unless specifically authorized by us.

2.2 System Integrity: You must not undertake any action that could harm the integrity or performance of the Service. We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate legal action against anyone who violates this policy.

2.3 Account Non-transferability: Users are prohibited from giving, selling, or renting their account to anyone else. Violation of this policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

3.1 User Content Ownership: For paid users, the Company does not claim ownership over content created or uploaded by users. For unpaid users, the Company retains all rights to content created or uploaded through the Service.

3.2 Search Functionality: Users are responsible for determining if search result content requires a license for their intended use.

3.3 Limited License: The Company grants users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal and non-commercial purposes.

4. User-Generated Content

4.1 Responsibility: You retain ownership of your User-Generated Content, but you grant the Company a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, and irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display such content.

4.2 Prohibited Content: You agree not to post or share any content that is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.

5. Privacy

6. Limitation of Liability

6.1 Disclaimer: The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any warranties or conditions, express or implied.

6.2 Limitation: In no event shall the Company be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

7. Refund and Cancellation Policy

7.1 Refund Eligibility: Refunds are available only for recurring subscription plans (Plus, Pro, Ultimate) within 14 days of the initial purchase or most recent renewal. Refund requests must be submitted through our refund page. Refunds are limited to one per account. We reserve the right to deny refund requests if the account has made substantial use of paid features during the billing period.

7.2 Non-Refundable Purchases: One-time purchases (including the Lite plan and lifetime plans) are final and non-refundable under any circumstances. Promotional, discounted, or deal-code purchases (including AppSumo, DealFuel, and DealMirror redemptions) are non-refundable. For refund inquiries on these purchases, please contact your original reseller directly.

7.3 Refund Scope: Approved refunds cover only the most recent billing cycle. No partial refunds are issued. Upon refund approval, all paid features and credits are revoked immediately — you will not retain access until the end of the billing period.

7.4 Processing: We process refunds on our end within 2 business days. However, it typically takes 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, as this depends on your bank or credit card issuer.

7.5 Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of the current billing period. No refund is issued for the remaining unused portion of the billing period.

7.6 Chargebacks and Disputes: Filing a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment provider instead of contacting us directly will result in permanent suspension of your account and forfeiture of all associated data and content. 8. Data Retention and Storage

8.1 Free Plan: Files stored up to 30 days, then may be permanently deleted.

8.2 Paid Plan: Extended storage available; company may remove inactive content with notice.

8.3 No Guarantee: Users should maintain their own backups.

9. AI Models and Service Quality

9.1 Model Availability: ChatSlide uses third-party AI models to power its features. The specific models available (e.g., GPT-4o, GPT-5.3, o3-mini) may change over time as we upgrade to newer, more capable models in line with the latest industry standards.

9.2 Quality Commitment: When models are updated or replaced, we ensure that overall output quality remains the same or improves. We do not downgrade model capabilities without providing an equivalent or better alternative.

9.3 Tier-Based Access: Certain advanced AI models are available only to specific subscription tiers. The models included in each tier may be updated as new models become available, but the tier will always include models of equal or greater capability.

10. Modifications to Terms

10.1 Updates: We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

11.1 Jurisdiction: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of United States or your jurisdiction.
